There are many hotels in Charleston, South Carolina. The three hotels listed above – Zero George, Restoration Charleston and Wentworth Mansion – are some of the ones we had the pleasure of staying at. The accommodations for all three were flawless. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spacious. At the Wentworth Mansion, we brought our puppy, and the Garden Room was so perfect. We could take her out without having to go into the lobby. The service at all three again was A+++++.
From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty at all three properties, from the welcome greeting at check-in to the well-appointed and comfortable suites to the incredible food at all the restaurants. The breakfasts in the morning were the perfect way to start the day, and the happy hours each had were refreshing and a great way to end a long day. The excursions and exclusive activities were so fun and exciting. But one thing that each property had in spades was impeccable 5-star service.
The concierge and everyone in the hotel were so attentive, knowledgeable and helpful for all our questions and needs. The service at the restaurants was flawless. They were attentive when they needed to be, were very knowledgeable about all of the food offerings, and recommended some of the best food I have eaten in a long time. I cannot say enough about each of these properties.
There are many other hotels that you can choose to stay at that are excellent, too, but for us, the three hotels, Zero George, Restoration Charleston and Wentworth Mansion, are our favorites by a long shot. When you get a chance to visit this beautiful city, you will not regret your decision to book a room at any of these properties. One thing to keep in mind is to book both the hotels and the restaurants well in advance because all of them are very popular and book up fast.
