We had an amazing long weekend stay at the Zero George. Mark the concierge was super helpful, attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed chatting with him from arrival to departure. He suggested we take the house bikes to King St. for dinner and it made for the perfect evening. There’s always a line for dinner at 167 Raw, so we put our names in and took the bikes to the battery and around south of broad. The jasmine was in full bloom! The complementary breakfast at the hotel is great, as is wine and cheese happy hour, and turn down service. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed too. We will be back to enjoy sitting in the inner gardens in this central Charleston spot!!

Zero George Restaurant is an absolutely wonderful dining experience whether you are going for a date night or a business meeting. I've gone at least 3 times, once for their New Years Eve dinner, and other times just for a fun dinner. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy, with music playing at just the right volume for you to be able to have conversation with ease. The service is excellent - with prompt attention, great explanations of the courses, wine or cocktails. The food is just wonderful - each time is a new experience, with the inclusion of some fan favorites that you may see pop up more frequently. Everything is presented beautifully and tastes just as wonderful as it appears (and better). They have a stellar cocktail menu, wine menu, and can cater to those who have dietary restrictions (just make sure to let them know ahead of time when you make your reservation).

Over priced for what it was, lacked fine details. I only went to the restaurant and did not stay in the hotel. Property was beautiful. Parking was not directly on site and was difficult to find as it was dark and we are from out of town. The food itself was very technical and made well, however much more of it was raw and jellied than I was expecting. It didn't feel like a comforting meal it was more akin to fear factor. It all LOOKED very very pretty though and I did end up enjoying about 3 of the dishes (3 individual plates not full courses). When I booked the reservation it said service was included, which I took to mean tipping was discouraged which I have found before in more expensive restaurants. I was incorrect and there was still a tip requested on the check, which is fine, but annoying that I wasn't expecting it. We each got a single drink and no other upgrades. It was over 200 per person after tip. The server dropped our menus, was wearing jeans, and had (not well kept) unmanicured fingernails. There was a single bathroom for everyone upstairs the size of a closet and poorly marked. Everyone was very nice, I just feel like it should have been higher quality for the price point.

we had an absolutely lovely time at Zero George. We only had time to stay for one night to celebrate my husbands birthday and the whole Zero George team went out of their way to make sure we had a really special (if short) stay. From the welcoming check in where we were offered a map of things to do around the city as well as personal restaurant recommendations to the complimentary wine and cheese hour with a super friendly bartender holiday decorations and of course the cozy breakfast in the morning with warmed coffee mugs and fresh pastries every moment was completely delightful. The rooms have high ceilings and unique decorations that feel elegant without being stuffy. Unfortunately it was a little rainy for us but we were able to sit out on our veranda for a glass of wine on the covered porch. The whole stay we felt like we never had to lift a finger. The bags were taken care of, bottles of water everywhere, every question had an answer. I can’t say enough good things about our experience, I would be back in a heartbeat
