Probably the best halibut I've ever had. Everything else was really good too. We will come back! Update: We came back the 2nd time before leaving Seward. The Cookery is probably the best restaurant in Alaska. They use local-grown, fresh mushrooms, vegetables, fish and shellfish. They're creative at their menu and change it frequently. Delicious homemade sourdough bread. Dessert is really good too. And apparently they open year-round. Such a good spot for both locals and tourists. Not cheap but really worth it.

4 years running and STILL the best restaurant I’ve ever been to across multiple continents and including a Michelin starred restaurant. Service is literally impeccable, immediate, weirdly mind-reading (shout out to Wendy tonight and the rest of the team). Food is mouth watering, sumptuous, ingredients you’d never think of combining, somehow coming together to be the thing I think of until the next year I visit. The Cookery, I love you.

A lovely, cute place! My family stopped in for some appetizers and drinks in the late afternoon and we were not disappointed! Great local beers and ciders, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Small menu but everything sounded delicious! We ordered the oysters and pan roasted brussel sprouts. They were fantastic! I would highly recommend

Lovely restaurant in Seward. Small selection of menu but great choices. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, white salmon entrée & some chocolate dessert - everything to share. We weren’t extremely hungry. Food tasted brilliant and so fresh! Dessert was okay. Nevertheless, would highly recommend this place.

Modern, architecturally interesting, moderately interesting wine list. Probably seats no more than 30. Focused around a grill and, thankfully, a military grade fine extractor. The execution could use some work and some of the flavor pairings could be brighter. The oysters were probably over executed and could do with a a tad more acidity. The steak was a delightful. Great place, work in progress.
