PowerPoles, a 14-foot tower with 16 rod holders and a 9 ft. beam for six anglers to fish comfortably. Shallow Point Charters offers a memorable kids’ fishing camp in Tampa Bay. Our professional fishing guides provide 5-6 hours of guided fishing and seminars on cast netting, bait selection, boating safety, and more. Lunch is included daily, with options on the boat or at local restaurants. Enjoy an unforgettable experience with a maximum of 6 kids per day.
Shallow Point Charters provide the best fishing experience with top-of-the-line gear and live and dead bait. You should bring comfortable clothing, polarized glasses, a protective hat, sunscreen, food and drinks (beer allowed!), and comfortable shoes without black soles. The cooler will be stocked with plenty of ice; however, no bananas or spray sunscreen is allowed. Come with a positive attitude to have fun.

a week agoWhat an amazing charter! My family (wife, 11 yr old, 8 yr old and 2 yr old) went with Captain Dave and from the moment we put bait in the water we were catching fish. The jacks were basically jumping in the boat as soon as a line went out, we were reeling in a fish we caught over 2 dozen and were entertained with a couple of dolphins playing around the boat. We then went to try and catch a redfish or two. Well we caught half a dozen and one was better than the next. We caught beautiful spotted reds, an absolute monster red and a trophy worthy one. I could not have been more impressed with the charter and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Captain Dave was great with my kids and the experience is one we will be talking about forever.

a month agoMy family and I just recently completed two days on charter with Captain Dav. He is one of the best in the business for sure. We’ve been coming down to the Florida area and fishing many different regions, including the keys and this was our first time to fish the Tampa Bay area. He put us on the fish immediately. He catered to both of my children which very widely in age, and was great with both of them, and made sure to include them in all of the days activities. On day two, we ventured out a bit and went and explored shell beach and some other tourist attractions, but he also seemed to work in some exclusive fishing spots on the way. I would highly recommend his services if you’re looking for someone in the Tampa Bay area to take you out on a charter or on a fishing trip. Great guy, great boat and great time!

11 months agoThis was the highlight of my year for sure!! Cannot have gone any better. Everything was on point and we caught fish!!! David was an amazing guide and knows these waters so well!!! Every cast we caught a fish. Even a few times the second the bait hit. (Fish on) I highly highly recommend going on a trip with David. Will not regret it at all. And you’ll walk away proud of catching fish with his knowledge of the fish and waters. Can’t wait to come back and have another fishing trip with David.

3 months agoCaptain Dave. I want to thank you for an unforgettable fishing experience that I will talk about for the rest of my life! Cap is extremely… and I mean insanely knowledgeable and has obviously put in the blood sweat and tears it takes to be successful in the sport. Because today on a chilly, windy winter evening he got us FOUR bull sharks, a bunch of sting ray, and a bunch of fish I have never seen in my life! As a Chicagoan who fishes mainly bass it was an incredible experience. Captain Dave fills the boat with vibrant stories of his experiences and life and you end up becoming close friends with a great dude by the end of your trip. He has the best gear, a beautiful boat, and the patience of a saint because it took me a bit to get a hang of things but he got us right! Not to mention we tried the other charters of this area and they all refused to night fish. Captain Dave said challenge accepted and it was a great time! Thank you again! And everyone needs to use this charter and no other.

a month agoMy daughter and I went out with captain Dave and had the time of our lives. Caught 7 fish and the last one was a black tip shark. The thrill of a lifetime and Dave is an amazing host and is a very knowledgeable and helpful fisherman. I highly recommend this adventure for anyone who loves to fish.
