a month agoWe had a good time, caught some fish and learned a lot. Boat set up is good with good electronics. Rich is an easy going guy anybody can get along with. Book your fishing trip early on your vacation so you can get out when the seas aren’t rough. We lucked out and Rich moved our day instead of going out in 3-6 footers, no white caps at all and it was Easter Sunday to boot. Great first time. Will definitely be back.

a year agoHad an absolutely spectacular time with Captain Rich on Scotty J’s Charters. From start to finish, we had a really great experience. Due to weather, we had to reschedule a few times (we are local so it wasn’t a huge deal) and Capt Rich was very transparent and made sure we got a day with great and comfortable conditions. When we got on the water, he was extremely friendly and made sure we were having fun. He is also very knowledgeable when it comes to the locations we choose and the fish we caught. He was a huge help pulling in some big ones that we enjoyed for dinner the nights following! If you’re looking for a spectacular charter company, this is the one (and HUGE bonus for the on-board flushing bathroom, took out the anxiety of fishing for 6 hours and having to “hold it” ) And even the little unexpected things— we lost 2 hats overboard while we were in the commute and he had no issue with circling around and helping us grab them. He wasn’t annoyed and kept us laughing. Overall, you can’t go wrong with Scotty J’s and Captain Rich. Thank you for the awesome day!

a year agoCaptain Rich with Scotty J's Charters was absolutely FABULOUS and ensured that we had a great experience!! He offered to reschedule us four times (if we chose to do so) due to less than ideal weather...he was SO transparent and upfront so that we could have the best trip out possible!!! During the excursion today, he did everything in his power to help us catch some amazing fish! Super friendly, knowledgeable and fun!! And the bathroom on board is a plus! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

10 months agoGreat day spent with friends on Scotty J's 10 hour trip. Captain Rich made he trip absolutely enjoyable. Great fishing spots and will definitely go fishing with them again soon!!!! :)

a year agoWe had a fun experience with Capt. Rich his charter is called Scott J Charters. This was our first time going fishing on a charter and though we caught a few fish that we could take home we did catch a big one that will never be forgotten! He was very knowledgeable and it was a memorable experience. Love he has a bathroom on board and some shade. This helps with us ladies. His prices are fair compared to others and worth every Penny. Recommend him for any charter and we will be back for the all day one! Thank you Captain Rich!
