Led by Captain Brad Petzke, anglers of all skill levels can enjoy trips for Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon, and Pacific Salmon. Captain Brad Petzke, the owner and operator, is the only full-time licensed and insured fly-fishing guide in the U.P. With over 20 years of guiding experience, Captain Brad ensures clients receive professional guidance. He is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Master Captain, Michigan DNR Inland Licensed Captain, Scientific Anglers Pro Staff member, Scott Pro Staff member, and part of the Michigan River Guides Association. Captain Brad spends over 175 days on the waters of the Upper Peninsula each year. On his days off, he can be found spey casting streamers for Steelhead and Lake Run Browns, chasing resident Brook and Brown Trout, or casting for Atlantic Salmon in Sault Ste. Marie. His extensive knowledge of the U.P.’s waters ensures he knows where the fish are year-round.

Rivers North Guide Service offers various fishing trips, including Brook and Brown Trout floats and wading outings, half-day and full-day trips for Steelhead and Pacific Salmon, and St. Marys River Atlantic Salmon fishing. Warm water species floats and wading outings are also available. The seasons and run schedules include Steelhead fishing from April to mid-May and early October to late December, Atlantic Salmon from mid-June to mid-August, and various salmon species in the fall. Brook Trout can be fished from early May to late June and mid-August to late September, with Brown Trout available during similar periods. Additional species include Lake Run Brown Trout from mid-October to late December, Smallmouth Bass from early June to mid-September, Northern Pike from early June to mid-November, and Musky in September and October.

These boats are equipped to maximize safety, comfort, and fishing success. Clients are provided with all necessary fishing gear, including Orvis fly rods, reels, leaders, tippet, and flies.
