a week agoGo at sunset. You gotta sit at the Raw Bar and ask for Matt or Alex. If you have a group of 4-5 request the corner. Get the Bulls Bay Oysters, She Crab soup with crab cake, and the mussels. If you like beer, get the pale ale. All the staff is friendly, and managers are helpful. Thanks to Charleston W*** Collective for the suggestion! Can’t say it’s the best restaurant in Charleston since only one I tried, but one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in awhile.

2 months agoThis restaurant is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Everything that we ate was great (salmon, grilled shrimp, fish on the day), the atmosphere was lovely and even though it was raining, the view was great! And GET THE PIMENTO CHEESE GRITS!!! One of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth! Definitely a highlight of our family trip to Charleston! We will definitely be back!

4 months agoThis was our last stop before leaving Charleston. It sits on the river, which has a beautiful view of the fishing dock. The experience was great. The food was awesome. My wife and I had the whole fried flounder with green beans and Charleston red rice as well as cheesy grits. For dessert, we both had the white chocolate bread pudding, so delicious. We watched people on the pier fish while we ate, got to smell the saltwater, and watched the tide go out. I also had a dozen locally caught oysters on the half shell fresh from the waters as an appetizer. My wife had fried green tomatoes, and she doesn't like oysters. But I ate all 12, and they were great.

a week agoI’d suggest making a reservation just to secure yourself a spot as it is busy, but wow the food was amazing! Staff was phenomenal as well! Parking is cheap to eat there & the view is beautiful as well!

a month agoFood was OK. Service was good. Atmosphere is clearly what people come for and we loved it! Sitting on the deck at the pier was amazing. I had the Mahi market fresh and it was delicious. The steamed broccoli was a bit cold and the cucumber salad was soaked in the balsamic. My friend had the spinach salad and it was a bit odd without fruit in it but it was OK. Food wasn’t spectacular but it was a cool experience. We had reservations ah oh I would highly recommend unless you are into long waits.
