Captain Chuck and his crew of Jay and Rob are amazing. 8 hours out on the ocean, and even through we didn’t catch anything Chuck was great at entertaining us with all his stories about his wife Linda and all of their adventures. Boat is excellent and comfortable. Gear is top of the line. Brand new caterpillar motor on the boat. Water included. Good toilet. Lots of comfortable sitting space. Magazines to read while passing the time. Thanks Chuck we will be back.

We have been fishing with Captain Chuck for many years and caught several fish. Sometimes the fish win but it is still a very enjoyable day on their beautiful, well equipped boat. 5 min after leaving the harbour the lines are in the water on many very impressive rods and reels. Sitting in the fighting chair is cool and you get a lesson right away on what happens when a fish in on the line. Chuck is an amazing storyteller and keeps you well entertained while finding the best fishing or snorkelling spots. We highly recommend fishing on Fire Hatt and will be back as often as possible!

Capt Shaun and first hand Jay were great. Friendly, helpful and just wanted us to have a fun time. Top notch experience and amazing spirit of aloha. Whether we caught fish or not (we caught short bill spearfish and skip jack tuna) .. this was a wonderful time. Along with catching (vs fishing) we were also treated to humpback whales in the distance and spinner dolphins accompanying the boat. Boat was clean comfortable and well maintained. I live here in Kona, took friends visiting from the mainland out and I will definitely go back out with them again. Highly recommend. Don’t hesitate.. book with them today. Captain Chuck and his right hand man on the boat were both tentative and very informative! Captain Chuck was a professional and very knowledgeable about the Island and the surrounding coast! We really enjoyed his stories and hospitality! He provided water, fruit, and breakfast muffins! If you have the opportunity, we suggest you take a full family day with Captain and his boat, if you do he will take you to a pretty secluded cove called Captain Cook Cove. That's where we did some amazing snorkeling! The best snorkeling on the whole island! Also, we got to catch a blue Marlin!! The day was perfect! Thanks Captain Chuck.
