9 months agoWe have went fishing with Captain Richard 3 times and each time has been exceptional! Have faith that when fishing with Down2Fish charters that you will be safe, learn new things, and be put on the best fishing holes the Florida coast has to offer! Each trip we have left with a heap of meat and an abundance of great memories. Factors that set them apart: -Richard knows when it’s time to move on from a spot and will not waste the time you pay for on not catching fish. -Skill level does not matter here as they have been great to providing extra attention and knowledge to those who need it to make sure they are comfortable and confident. -Great gear and vessel. It will be difficult to find a charter that has both of these at this price point. -Friendly and extremely experienced. Richard has endless fishing knowledge and some of the best boat skills I have seen to date. If you are hesitating to go with Down2Fish Charters let this be your sign to make the decision to go catch some hogs and have a great time!

10 months agoI've been on quite a few charters in my life and fished almost my whole life and I can say, with confidence, that Richard has been my favorite captain. Top notch outfit, put us on fish, went beyond the extra mile (literally), awesome guy and great conversation, and we went home grossly weighed down by fish. Next year's snapper season with Richard for can't come fast enough!

10 months agoWe did an inshore fishing trip with Captain Richard. It was awesome!! He’s knowledgeable, and experienced captain who made it tons of fun for our 9 year old and us! Caught a variety of different fish, seen dolphins, turtle, star fish, sting ray, and a manatee! We would totally be down2fish with Captain Richard again! 100% worth it!

2 years agoCannot recommend Captain Richard and Down2Fish Charters enough! 5/5 stars!!!! Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and fun! His vessel is the nicest in the area and makes getting to all the spots a breeze! He put us on fish all day long, and we were able to limit out on Red Snapper and Red Grouper! Cannot wait to be back on the water with Down2Fish

2 years agoI had the opportunity to fish with Captain Richard this past weekend and was extremely pleased with the outcome. We caught our limit of grouper and landed red snapper and multiple other species of fish. I was most impressed with Captain Richard's demeanor with my son and his friends. Capt. Richard was friendly, patient and shared many lessons-learned of fishing in the Gulf over his lifetime. It was very educational trip which all enjoyed. We all had fun on the trip and my freezer is now stocked with my favorite fish to eat! Capt. Richard's boat is amazing. It has all of the latest technology and is comfortable for five people fishing. We never felt crowded on the boat. Overall it was the best charter trip experience I have had and I have done many. I highly recommend Capt. Richard and Down2Fish charters.
