Cape Fear Marina stands out as a truly exclusive destination for boaters seeking a tranquil and luxurious experience. With its secluded location on the Northeast Cape Fear River in Wilmington, North Carolina, the marina offers an unmatched sense of privacy and serenity.

One of the key elements contributing to Cape Fear Marina’s exclusivity is its commitment to tight security. Boaters can rest assured knowing that their vessels are well-protected within the marina’s secure premises. This dedication to safety and security provides peace of mind to boat owners, allowing them to fully enjoy their time on the water.

Moreover, Cape Fear Marina’s ability to accommodate large sailboats and motor yachts up to 175 ft in length adds to its exclusivity. The marina’s deep water slips provide ample space for these impressive vessels, making it a preferred destination for boaters with larger yachts. There is a minimum size of 40 ft in length, and the vessel must be sea-worthy.

Another aspect that sets Cape Fear Marina apart is its affiliation with Bennett Brothers Yachts, a renowned full-service yacht yard located on-site. This partnership allows boaters to access various yacht services, including repairs, maintenance, and refits, all in one convenient location.
This comprehensive offering further enhances the exclusivity of the marina, attracting boaters who value convenience and exceptional service.

The amenities provided by Cape Fear Marina also contribute to its superiority over other marinas in the area. Boaters can enjoy the convenience of water, pump-out, and electricity at each slip, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The immaculate laundry, shower facilities, and complimentary ice add a touch of luxury to the boating lifestyle. The marina’s bath house, social area, and dog park create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all boaters, further enhancing the exclusivity of the marina.

In addition to its outstanding facilities, Cape Fear Marina’s location in downtown Historic Wilmington, North Carolina, adds to its allure. Boaters have easy access to a variety of attractions, including charming shops, restaurants, and historical sites. The marina’s proximity to Carolina Beach also opens up opportunities for fishing charters and other water activities, providing a truly exclusive and diverse boating experience.

There is a commitment to providing a secure, luxurious, and convenient environment for boaters at Cape Fear Marina. From its tight security measures and ability to accommodate large vessels to its comprehensive yacht services and top-notch amenities, the marina offers an unparalleled experience for those seeking an exclusive boating destination.

Really friendly staff here and close to downtown Wilmington. Their services offered have changed in the past year so I'm not sure what the full array is currently, but you can always call and talk with the staff to check. It's a ways up the Cape Fear River, but that makes it a good spot to get away from rough weather.

An excellent location for an extended stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Docks are in decent shape. Location is far enough inland you are well protected.

Seems like the best deal on the cape fear. Super reasonably priced, full service boatyard on site, nice bathrooms, washer and dryer (2), ample parking, dockmaster (Renn) is helpful and clearly cares about the boats and grounds under his charge. Not sure where else you can find that downtown. Off the Hook, which handles the leasing, has been easy to work with and accommodating. It would be nice if it was a no wake zone but there isn't much they can do about that.

The one thing that is really something about this marina is how friendly the employees are. Always smiling. Always waving and willing to help if needed. Have not had any work done at BBY, but from the work I have seen they seem to be on the ball. The little perks they have really helps set them apart. Such as fresh coffee waiting in the morning. I would not hesitate to recommend this marina.
