Camelot Sport fishing was the best experience I’ve ever had on a charter. Captain Robert and his son Christopher not only know what they are doing but they made it feel like home. I have a lot of years fishing and today took the cake. Comfortable, welcoming and they worked hard for us.

I was so happy with my fishing trip. We booked a 4-hr private charter and it was worth every penny! Lyle and Makai were wonderful. It was my first time sportfishing and they were excellent at coaching me to bring in a 10ft marlin!! We also brought in 2 short billed spearfish and we just missed the ahi tuna. Besides being great fishermen, it was great to talk to them and learn more about Hawaii from true locals, born and raised. The boat was extremely clean and it was evident that they take excellent care of their equipment. I could not have asked for a better experience and if I ever come back to Hawaii-I will book with them again.

8 hour trip for my family (including grandfather and children) went absolutely perfect for us thanks to the guys at Camelot charters. Lincoln (captain) and Makai (deckhand) met us promptly at the dock and we were on our way. We fished our way out to captain cook reef so we could take a break and do some snorkeling. Makai was super generous with information about history and culture of Hawaii. He essentially helped us plan out several days of our weeklong trip with must do/must see activities from the Hawaiian perspective. Lincoln was super chill and had great stories of the fish and fishing from his 40+ years of working on fishing boats around Hawaii. Snorkeling experience was fantastic….were able to get hosed off with fresh water on the boat, and had our lunch. After that we asked if we could change gears and target Ono, as we were looking for some fish to eat for our stay. They were super eager to do this for us by changing lures/tactics and taking a shallower trolling pass for the afternoon. We ended up with 2 Ono which they cleaned and bagged for us, this has allowed us to save a lot of money rather than eating out by eating our own delicious fresh fish. 3 meals and counting. Boat was super clean, very professional, and I feel like we really got just as good an experience as we could’ve ever hoped for. Thanks so much to Camelot charters for making this memory for our 3 generations of family.

The experience was phenomenal. Lyle and Cassie were outstanding. We caught a lot of fish including a hundred pound tuna. All of us had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Camelot and we will go with them again on a return trip to the big island.

10/10. I went on a six hour trip with in a party of four. It was a very good experience, we got a baby blue marlin (which is apparently the only type of blue marlin that's good eating), three yellow-fin tuna, and one skipjack. It was really awesome fishing up a blue marlin. The crew was really nice and good at their job (Thank you captain Roberts and Christopher). They filleted the fish for us right on the docks, the scraps attract a lot of fish, and even turtles sometimes. Even our group of ten couldn't eat a whole blue marlin, even a baby, before it went bad, but luckily Camelot gave away the extra meat to their friends and family, no waste. I had a wonderful experience, would reccomend.
