Ocean fishing trips, also running from April 10 to December 15, offer 4-hour, 6-hour, and 8-hour options, focusing on species such as Fluke, Blues, Tautog, Sea Bass, and Triggerfish through reef, wreck, drifting, or trolling techniques. A specific Raritan Bay Striper trip is available from October 15 to November 15 for a 6-hour duration. For offshore fishing, an 8-hour trip from April 10 to September 1 targets sharks or Bluefin Tuna.
The Babu III, a 26-foot catamaran, serves as the primary vessel for these charters. Licensed by the USCG for passengers, it is powered by twin 140 horsepower engines capable of running at 40 MPH in 4-foot seas. The boat is equipped with advanced electronics, including radar, two VHF radios, a CB radio, two GPS units, a plotter, two fishfinders, and an autopilot, ensuring a successful and safe fishing experience. The boat also features a clean enclosed head for comfort. Additionally, Babu Sport Fishing Charters also operates 19-foot catamaran with a 115 horsepower outboard engine, trolling motor, VHF, GPS, and fishfinder, suitable for smaller groups.
