Optimus Fishing Charters offers several types of fishing trips. The Full Day Trip takes you fishing in the inshore and coastal waters of Tampa Bay, venturing up to 10 miles off the coast to catch species like Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Redfish, Trout, Sharks, and Bluefish. The 3/4 Day Trip is a 6-hour excursion focusing on the South Shore Tampa Bay, where you can catch Snook, Cobia, Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, and Mangrove Snapper. The Half Day Trip, available in the morning or afternoon, is a 4-hour adventure fishing for Cobia, Redfish, Snook, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and more in South Shore Tampa Bay.

The charter uses a 24’ Kencraft vessel built in 2021, accommodating up to six guests. This boat, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 42 knots, ensures a comfortable and speedy trip to the fishing grounds. Equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, forward and aft livewells, an icebox, and a wireless trolling motor, the boat is well-prepared for spotting and catching fish. For offshore charters, Optimus Fishing Charters uses a private 26′ twin-engine Cape Horn fishing machine.
