Paradise Outfitters is your choice for world-class fishing in Venice, Louisiana. With six experienced guides and four custom boats, it is no wonder it is one of the premier charters in Venice and has been voted the best fishing guide service in New Orleans.

Captain Hunter Caballero, the founder of Paradise Outfitters, is well accomplished in the professional angling world with over 20 years of experience fishing the Venice, LA waters. He and his fellow Captains have an unparalleled capability to hone in on the giant Yellowfin Tuna that “Tuna Town” is famous for. Many of Paradise Outfitters Captains are native to Louisiana and know the waters here like the back of their hand.

Four custom-built boats are built for the extreme fishing experiences of Venice, LA. They all have the latest fish finding and navigation equipment and can comfortably accommodate six anglers. They have powerful engines, which are essential to quickly get you to the fishing grounds, just 25 miles offshore. This means more time reeling in huge fish.

Venice Lousiana is known for year-round Tuna fishing. The town is nicknamed for this fish, but Tuna is not the only fish swimming in these waters. During your trips with Paradise Outfitters, you will also find giant Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Blue Marlin. Fishing near the oil rigs that dot the shore can be very productive, bringing in Red Snapper and Grouper. You can also go to the deep blue for daytime Swordfish fishing.

Each of the Captains is knowledgeable and has proven techniques for putting you on the fish and reeling in the big ones. Various fishing techniques like trolling, chunking, live baiting, vertical jigging, wreck fishing, deep-dropping stand-up tackle and kite fishing are just a few techniques the team at Paradise Outfitters may leverage to put their customers on massive fish.

Many of the charters available are specifically designed for Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Snapper and Grouper, depending on which one or ones you want to target during your day on the water. There are also trips to the Midnight Lump, one of the best Tuna fishing destinations in the world. And for the very adventurous, Paradise Outfitters offers overnight Tuna trips.

While most everything is included in your trip, including fuel, Paradise Outfitters recommends you bring comfortable clothing, deck or athletic shoes, rainwear, hand towels, a hat, buff, and polarized sunglasses. Also, you should bring a camera or video recorder for memorable pictures and an ice chest for the fish you take home.

A valid fishing license is required in Louisiana, so make sure you plan ahead and buy one.

Come battle with some of the monsters of the sea. You will not be disappointed with your Paradise Outfitters charter. They will put you on the fish and have you screaming with excitement as you reel in a giant.

We had a great trip with Paradise Outfitters. The weather turned nasty for our original booking, and they quickly rescheduled us for a better day that worked with our schedule. We caught a pile of tuna and landed a nice marlin! Top notch outfitter. We will be back!

Hands down, the best charter trip that I have ever experienced. The weather was perfect and the fish were biting! I certainly realize that having ladies on the boat isn't always ideal, but Capt Scott and Jack were the perfect combination of fun and respectful. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our 1000000 questions. We limited out on red snapper before 9 am and then managed to snag some beautiful tuna. I don't think we went more than 15 minutes without a fish on the line. Thanks again for an amazing trip!* I also highly recommend staying with Paradise Outfitters @Kingfish Lodges. It was perfect! Super clean and very convenient!

Went to Venice hoping we would fill the boat with tuna. Found out that the tuna was so far offshore that it would burn most of our trip traveling. The captain told us he recommends snapper and grouper instead. Boy was he right we caught 12 monster size snapper all around 21#’s and the grouper was similar. This was the best fishing experience we have ever had in our life’s. I will be the first to recommend Captain Drew and his mate Elliot with Paradise charters to ever single person. They truly are the best in the business.

Overall 2-day fishing charter with Captain Scott and Drew was a success and very enjoyable for our group. I would love to score 5 stars but cannot for these reasons. Our first day was on rough seas, there were no safety introductions for life vest, floating devices, or what to do in an event of any situation or emergency, looking back that was a little unsettling for our first time boaters and anglers. I would recommend some type of safety assurance from the captains before they take out a new group.Captain Drew and Captain Scott know the fishing spots and how to get after them. Captain Scott and mate Jack were great at setting up the equipment then letting the angler group do the rest, from bait fishing to snagging up the rod and reeling it in the catch! Captain Drew and Daniel on the other hand did to much themselves before they turned it over to the anglers IMO. Get to know your group and let them participate a little more if they are willing and interested.I would charter through Paradise Outfitters again!!

We were not able to fish with Paradise Outfitters due to a mechanical failure. We were moved to Super Strike Charters. Captain Scott King took us out and we had the worst fishing experience I have ever had, Capt. Scott King did not act like he even wanted to take us fishing from the very start. We spent the day running from site to site, any where from 40-60 mile runs. Captain Scott King would only spend around 15-20 mins per site and we were off to another site. We didn’t catch a single Tuna. It was the most expensive boat ride I have had. I told Paradise Outfitters about our experience and we spoke to Damon the owner of Super Strike Charters. Damon just blew me off and said that I did not understand tuna fishing, Captain Scott King was trying to put us on fish. I explained that it doesn’t matter how good someone may be, if you never put a hook with some bait into the water. You will never catch a fish. Paradise Outfitters has offered to have us all back and take care of the expenses. They were very sorry for the way we were treated. I look forward to booking with them again very soon.
