Saw a lot of good reviews about this place and I was super excited to go try it. I feel like I came into this restaurant with high expectations and I was just a little disappointed when it didn’t meet them. Everyone was talking about the seafood Purloo online and my fish was very rubbery and the rice had way too much tomato paste. Overall, the flavor of the dishes were very good and the shrimp and grits are worth trying here. The lobster bisque didn’t really taste like lobster and had an excessive amount of heavy cream. The desert however, was amazing . The banana pudding was sweet, creamy, and a great texture. The ambience of the place was very nice and they did have live music. The outside dining area is a little tight, but overall was a good experience.

We ate here twice in a week, getting take-out the second time after our meal so we could have their food a third time! Absolutely love the food. Impressed by the range of gluten-free, vegan/veg and local options. We loved: Shrimp and grits Mashed potatoes Fried green tomatoes and the sauce that comes with it Catch of the day sandwich (it was mahi mahi) on gluten free bread Tofu sandwich on gluten free bread Collards Lowcountry burger Also, Cookie is an excellent server and took time to make sure we got what we wanted in the best way.

Tried the Today's Catch Sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, Lowcountry Burger (not pictured), Seafood Purloo (not pictured), and banana pudding over multiple visits over a couple of years. All are delicious, and this restaurant has become a must-visit for me and my family whenever we come to Hilton Head Island. I cannot recommend it enough.Special shout-out to the banana pudding, it is the best banana pudding I've ever had, and every time I return I must have it again.

This restaurant is amazing! We found it last year and came back to eat here again. Their dishes are truly unique and delicious! Absolutely love the Shimp and wild mushrooms cobbler! Wife says the homemade Thousand Island dressing is the best she's ever had. The Key Lime pie was tart and yummy! Music is a throwback to old rock and roll and atmosphere is comfortable and laid back.
