a month agoMamas has a special environment. The location is beach front and magical. The service was friendly and very welcoming. It's fine dining but we came from the beach so we're dressed very casual. We didn't have reservations but were able to eat at the bar. We ordered crab stuffed kanpachi with the lobster tail and seafood curry. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful. The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable and drinks were yummy. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

a week agoMade a reservation for 8 about six months in advance. Food and service were excellent and you could tell the fish was very fresh. Probably one of the nicest decors you’ll find inside and outside a restaurant. You definitely feel like you are in a tropical paradise.

2 weeks agoBest restaurant we went in Maui. The food was exquisite! I highly recommend the fried fish. It was kind of expensive but omg was really good. Beautiful Atmosphere, we loved the decoration and every little detail. The stuff was Super friendly, dedicated and great team. Valet parking. They are super friendly too. In front of a beautiful beach. Expensive but worth it.

4 months agoThis restaurant was OUTSTANDING. Best meal I’ve ever had in any of the Hawaii islands. Like as many reviews mentioned, you cannot go wrong with any of the dishes on the menu. We truly enjoyed every single dishes we ordered. The octopus dish was so delicious and soft and the crab cake hit it out of the park for us. Our server did a great job. We missed his name but he went above and beyond to check on us to make sure we got everything we needed it. The drinks were delicious. One of the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Bonus star for complimentary valet parking, and overall all the workers at mama’s gave top notch service. I recommend coming here if it’s the only meal you ever try in Maui.

a week agoAbsolutely amazing food, service and you can’t beat the view. Cocktails were delicious and it was the freshest fish I’ve ever eaten. The ahi in the coconut shell, crab cakes, chowder and Opakapaka with risotto, capers and tomatoes were standouts and you have to save room for the Tahitian pearl for dessert. Mamas also had the best mai tai I’ve ever had in my life - the combination of local fresh juices and great rum were a delight.
