F/V Lost Charters, based in Kittery, Maine, offers fishing trips for both beginners and seasoned anglers. Operating from 21 Badgers Island West, they provide offshore and inshore fishing as well as commercial lobster services. Families are welcome, and children can join the trips, though those under 12 must bring their own life jackets. With multiple vessels, they accommodate different types of trips, including offshore excursions targeting haddock, cod, redfish, and pollock. These longer trips often provide the chance to observe seabirds, seals, and occasionally whales. Shorter trips focus on striped bass and mackerel, with the 2024 addition of striper fly fishing for experienced anglers. All necessary equipment, including bait, tackle, and fishing licenses, is provided, and instruction is available when needed. Whether venturing offshore or staying closer to shore, the goal is to offer a fishing trip suited to different levels of skill and interest.

Captain DJ Daniels owns and operates F/V Lost Charters. A licensed fishing guide from New Hampshire with twenty years of experience, he knows the waters off Maine and New Hampshire well. His reputation in the Kittery fishing community comes from years of working on the ocean and ensuring that those on board have a solid day on the water.

The offshore fishing trips focus on haddock, cod, redfish, and pollock. Inshore trips target striped bass and mackerel, while specialized tuna trips are available for those looking for a challenging catch. The introduction of striper fly fishing in 2024 offers a different approach for those interested in fly fishing techniques.

F/V Lost Charters operates three vessels. The 45′ Provincial, formerly the F/V Pinwheel, is used for longer offshore trips lasting 8 to 10 hours. It has a climate-controlled cabin, a full bathroom, and room for up to six anglers. The 31′ Cobia Center Console is used for sunset cruises and shorter striper and mackerel trips lasting 3 to 5 hours, with a capacity of six anglers. The 23′ Parker Center Console, also used for shorter trips, accommodates up to four anglers.
