Captain Josh Holmes owns and operates one of the best fishing charters in Miami, Florida. Over 20 years of competitive fishing and 15 years of professional guiding experience have made him an expert in his field. He has some favorite spots, depending on what type of fish you’re looking to catch. He has all sorts of tricks for finding fish and hooking them as quickly as possible! He will even clean and fillet your fish for you!

Grand Slam Charters has two boats that are perfect for anglers. Both boats offer superior seafaring capabilities, so you can make your charter an unforgettable experience.

The 30 ft. Contender center console Contender is specifically designed for offshore fishing with dual Yamaha 300 HP engines capable of roaring up to 60 knots and outfitted with the latest navigation/fish-finding technology, outriggers, downriggers, live well and a fish box for storing catches. It allows up to 5 anglers to fish throughout the boat.

The 18 ft. Gordon Waterman allows 4 anglers to move freely. It has remarkable stability and comfort thanks to its flat bottom design. Powered by a 90 hp Yamaha outboard to get you to the fish quickly and a trolling motor and Power Pole to ensure you do not spook fish and get you right up on them.

South Florida is considered the home of saltwater fishing, and the Miami area is a great place to catch some of the largest fish in the world.

Captain Josh uses many different techniques to get you on the fish. Some of these are Trolling, Bottom Fishing and Deep Dropping for Swordfish.

Grand Slam offers Offshore Charters and Swordfish Charters to the deep waters, Reef Fishing Charters to the patch reefs, and Inshore/Backcountry Charters to the shallow flats and backwaters.

Top-of-the-line rods and reels are provided, along with an assortment of lures and lots of live bait. You should bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat for sun protection, drinks, and snacks.
