J.B.’s Fish Camp & Seafood Restaurant refers to itself as “Southern Seafood with an Attitude.” Located right on Mosquito Lagoon, with breathtaking views of the Indian River and some of the most stunning sunsets around. There is indoor seating and a large outdoor seating area. There are also two bars serving up ice-cold beer and specialty cocktails. Come relax after a long day of fishing or whatever you did and sit back, have a tasty beverage, indulge in some fresh seafood and watch the sun set over the water. It is a sight to behold, and along with the incredible food and drinks and warm and friendly staff, it makes J.B.’s Fish Camp a go-to destination in New Smyrna.
The drinks are just as good as the food and complement your meal perfectly. There is a large selection of bottled domestic, imported and craft beers. There are also over 10 draft beers on tap, including NSB Shark Attack IPA, a local beer. There is also a selection of red and white wines you can order by the glass or get a bottle for the table. Two full bars, one inside and one outside, serve up classic and specialty cocktails. Try two J.B.’s cocktails: J.B.’s Rum Runner, either on the rocks or frozen, and J.B.’s Bloody Mary. Or try the many specialty cocktails like the Honey Palmer, the Island Living and the Gator Punch. All of these drinks are made by our friendly bar staff.
J.B.’s Fish Camp has a very laid-back atmosphere. You can dock your boat at one of the slips. It used to be just a tiny shack, and while it is much bigger now, they try to give the feel of the shack. Indoors, it is lively, while outside, it is more relaxing. You can sit and eat outdoors and watch nature pass you by. You might even see dolphins and manatees. Every weekend, there is live music to entertain its guests. The restaurant is for everyone. It is very family-orientated. The founder, JB, said that children are always welcome. They are our future.
While at J.B.’s, you can rent a kayak or paddleboard. Take a guided fishing kayak tour or head out on your own, enjoying the tranquility of the Indian River Lagoon. Before you leave, stop at our merchandise store to grab some memorability.
J.B.’s Fish Camp & Restaurant is the perfect place to go when craving seafood while in New Smyrna. The food is delicious, with the cooks preparing delicious dishes with the freshest and most sustainable ingredients for their guests. The cocktails are just as tasty, and with such a selection, you can be sure to find the perfect drink for you. Bring your kids, the restaurant is family-friendly, but it is also a great place just to come and hang out with your friends. Live music on the weekends makes for an exciting time. Drive your car, walk off the beach or dock your boat. Everyone is welcome at J.B.’s Fish Camp & Restaurant.

a month agoHad a 5 🌟 family lunch experience here recently, during Spring Break. We were seated swiftly, and the service was awesome. Our friendly server made great suggestions and brought us swamp juice sauce to sample. Food was excellent and kids ate well. Worth the trip if you are in NSB. Also, it's right on the water, and you can rent kayaks and paddle boards.

in the last weekThe only good thing about our meal tonight was the service from our waitress. Everything else tasted bland and not good. I caught a great sunset though so that was nice.

2 weeks agoEverything was fine except for the stacking of the food baskets on top of one another. We all enjoyed our meals and the view. The male delivering the meals should use a tray. I was in the restaurant industry for years.

a month agoThe Rock Cakes are delicious as is the Key Lime Pie. Everything else was fantastic too, especially the blackened Mahi. Substitute fried Mahi on the Captains Platter was exceptional. Side salad was surprisingly good, particularly with the Ranch dressing. We loved the Kelly's Hot Sauce, made at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. Very family-friendly with a place for young kids to play outside and easily viewable through the window in the back.

a month agoTheir back! Had an excellent dinner. Ate inside but coukd have waited a bit longer for an outside table. The atmosphere is excellent, especially outside with the sun setting and a very good live music. Could have sat along the water all evening.
