Such a cool place to visit! The atmosphere and the vibe was very modern and into date with the food scene. I had a vegetable omelette with feta! Delicious especially with their maple tumeric hot sauce ! Our server Liam was amazing! Super knowledgeable about the menu and caring!! 19/10 recommendation! They had different cocktail flights you can try as well as brunch items !! Would definitely go again when I come back to Boston!

the friendly toast is a fun little brunch spot. our only complaint is that we made reservations, got a message asking us to come early because the line was moving quickly, then ended up waiting outside in the blistering cold for 20 minutes. aside from that, the food was phenomenal. we loved the mimosa flight. we got the “some like it tot” and oh my goodness, i have never been that delighted in my life. the hash quiche was also PHENOMENAL. they were very accommodating in making both orders without bacon! my boyfriend enjoyed the chicken and waffles, he said they were very good and ate them up entirely. our server jhon made our experience very enjoyable.

Visited for a quick breakfast, a bit of a queue was building up, but we were lucky and got a table straight away, so I think booking is recommended. Atmosphere is vintage USA with matching music. Our waitress was attentive and her high energy added to the experience. Food was generous and delicious, great experience.

A really cool atmosphere. Love all of the memorabilia and the 80s music they had going on was fun. Food was not bad, interesting ideas for some of the menu. Good service. I really love the fact you could monitor your reservation online as we had over an hour wait and hung out at our hotel (instead of waiting in the rain) until it was closer to time for our reservation to be seated. Great raspberry mimosa! Thanks to our server Nicole for the recommendation!

Had high hope for The Friendly Toast because of the high rating but we were disappointed and felt it was a waste of money. They were ~$20/plate, we waited a while for our food and they were cold and not fresh at all. With how much they charge, we'd expect something fresh.- Egg Benedict - Chicken Cordon Bleu Benny: $19. Has good flavor, enough amount of Hollandaise sauce and not greasy. However, except the poached egg, everything was cold and felt like it's been sitting there for a while - Chicken & Waffle: $21. Great flavor but everything was cold when we got it. Asked for a replacement. The new plate had hot fried chicken but the waffles were cold and stale.Service was good and food has great taste. It's a shame they can't make it fresh.
