in the last weekFood was pretty good and came out super fast, but the atmosphere makes the place. Such a chill vibe with amazing views. 10/10 would recommend. Take a book and a blanket and curl up on the outdoor sofa for a perfect post-lunch experience.

in the last weekWe were told by friends this was a fantastic place to go so we wanted to try it while vacationing in Gulf Shores. Not really impressed. We spent over $200 between 4 people and my mom who ordered the $48 seafood boil, was not even given the proper utensils to eat crab legs. Just a cracker, they don't give you forks, they don't give you any sides with the meals, paper napkins, you have to eat outside (no choice, it was super windy, not their fault) and just really not worth the price in my opinion. The food was good but if I am spending $200 on a meal I would like to not be eating it out of trays with paper napkins, and have a some sort of side for $19 fish sandwich or $15 burger. The view was really beautiful, grouper sandwich was really good, and the staff was mediocre. I would check out The Picnic Beach Bar and Grill next time. Mediocre experience, not worth the money.

a month agoLovely atmosphere!!!! The menu has so many options and the food is amazing. My wife had the red snapper BLT and it came with fries. We had 4 burgers and my little one had tenders. A couple things to note. Fries do not come with the burgers, and there are no cups of water. Only bottle water. For sale. Beautiful sunset. I want to give praise to amazing staff. Steven, the manager, really came through. If you look at the pictures I posted you will see that there was line to order food. I had already ordered and sat down and forgot to get drinks. Steven saw that I was trying to figure out how to get drinks and where to get them, so he asked if he could help me with anything. I told him I forgot about drinks, he told me I did not have to wait in line and I was able to skip the line and purchase a water. Great experience. Five star service, 10 star management. Thanks Steven.

a month agoThe view is gorgeous and the setting is so relaxing! Brenda was so kind and helpful. She recommended the fried grouper sandwich. I love grouper, but I have never had it fried. She told me to trust her and I am so glad I did! It was one of the best things I have ever eaten! And it was huge! I can not wait to go back again! Our experience at The Gulf was wonderful!

a week agoWe are Midwesterners and vacation in the area a few times a year. The Gulf is a place I will be recommending EVERY time! It’s easily one of the best restaurants in Orange Beach. The food was awesome and the atmosphere and view cannot be beat!
