Fishing trips include half-day and full-day inshore options. These trips typically run 4 to 8 hours and focus on catching cobia, spadefish, Spanish mackerel, flounder, drum, shark, bluefish, triggerfish, king mackerel, and ribbonfish. Offshore trips last up to 12 hours and go after larger fish such as tuna, mahi mahi, wahoo, and billfish. The 8-hour wreck trip targets bottom-dwellers near shipwrecks and reefs. For those chasing big game, Bluefin tuna trips are available for either 8 or 10 hours. Special event cruises are also offered, allowing for a more relaxed time on the water.
Playin Hookey Charters runs a 2023 29-foot C-Hawk boat powered by twin Yamaha 300 engines. The vessel is equipped with radar, marine electronics, and an emergency position-indicating radio beacon. For cooler months, full curtain enclosures keep the ride comfortable. The boat can take up to eight people per trip, ensuring plenty of space to fish and relax.
