Trips typically begin about an hour before sunrise and last 5-6 hours, with evening trips available during the spring and fall. The primary pickup location is Grider Hill Marina, though arrangements can also be made at Marina Rowena or Halcombs Landing at no extra cost. Other marina or houseboat pickups may include an additional fuel charge. Each angler is allowed to keep up to two striped bass measuring 22 inches or more, along with any other legal fish caught. From July to October, catch-and-release of keeper-sized striped bass is not permitted due to high temperatures affecting survival rates. Those interested in releasing fish should consider booking during cooler months, though the two-fish limit still applies. Fishing takes place in all weather conditions, whether hot, cold, or rainy, with safety always being the top priority. Children 12 and under must wear a life vest, which is provided. Anyone 16 or older must have a valid Kentucky fishing license.

Fishing trips are available as half-day or full-day excursions, with pricing based on the number of anglers. The cost includes pickup at Grider Hill Marina, all bait and equipment, and fish cleaning and bagging. Pickup at the dam or Marina Rowena is available at no extra charge, while other locations may require a fuel fee. Rates are $500 for up to three people, $575 for four, $650 for five, and $725 for six. Larger groups can be accommodated with prior arrangements.
