The steelhead season runs from September through March, and techniques have been fine-tuned over the years to adapt to changing conditions. In early fall, the catch-and-release season offers warm weather, active fish, and great opportunities to land one of these powerful fighters on a floating fly line. As temperatures drop, the approach shifts to sink tips, and November through January can produce aggressive steelhead willing to chase a fly. Gear techniques also work well during this time, especially with the additional opportunity to target Fall Chinook and Coho salmon. With the ability to fish two anglers at a time, or three if requested, the drift boats allow for an efficient and comfortable setup on the river.

They are equipped with advanced electronics, including fish finders and GPS systems, to help locate fish more effectively.
