Hunt Fish Kauai, located in Port Allen Small Boat Harbor in Eleele, Hawaii, offers tailored fishing and hunting opportunities that reflect the natural and cultural richness of the island. Whether you’re interested in trolling for big game fish like mahi mahi, ono, yellowfin tuna, and marlin, or exploring bottom fishing, deep-sea jigging, or baiting for reef fish, Hunt Fish Kauai caters to both beginners and experienced anglers. Those who want to explore Kauai’s rugged terrain can participate in guided wild boar hunts on over 1,000 acres of private land. Each trip is designed to provide a genuine connection to the island, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy fresh-caught fish during their stay. Essential items like water, juice, and soda are provided, and anglers are encouraged to bring their own snacks, hats, sunscreen, and beverages, preferably in cans.

Owned and operated by brothers Captain Alapai and Captain Kodi Toulon, Hunt Fish Kauai is rooted in a legacy of island living. As fifth-generation residents of Kauai, both captains were raised in a lifestyle that revolved around the sea and the island’s rugged landscape. Alapai Toulon, a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain, brings years of expertise in fishing, diving, and navigating Kauai’s waters. His credentials include PADI certification, along with CPR and First Aid training, ensuring both safety and professionalism during every trip. Kodi Toulon, also a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain, shares an extensive background in fishing and marine exploration. Like his brother, he is PADI-certified and trained in CPR and First Aid. Together, the Toulon brothers emphasize sustainable practices and aim to help everyone appreciate the natural and cultural heritage of Hawaii.

Fishing charters are available in durations of four, six, or eight hours, with private excursions accommodating up to six people. The Napali Coast charter, an eight-hour private trip, showcases a stretch of Kauai renowned for its sheer cliffs, waterfalls, and historic fishing villages. This area, spanning 15 miles from Ke‘e Beach to Polihale, holds cultural and natural significance, and the Toulon brothers have spent their lives exploring its waters and terrain.
