The seat yourself system is chaotic, but we got seated within a few minutes on a Friday night. If you've been to other Joe's locations that are basically just a restaurant, don't expect that as it truly is a bar atmosphere. Our server took a little bit to come over to us, but that makes some sense with the seat yourself system. After that, he was fairly attentive and helpful. We got the pretzels to start. They're not very good; the equivalent of something you'd get from a high school basketball game but for over $10. Entrees were good though. We got fish and chips and nachos with Sloppy Joe mix. The fish was soft, not a crisp fry, but had good flavor. Fries were basic, nothing good or bad to say about them. Nachos were unique with the added Sloppy Joe mix. Giant portion of them with a generous amount of the mix for only adding on $4.

If your visiting Key West then you've probably already heard of Sloppy Joe's. This was a great spot to enjoy food, drinks and live music. We both had the fish tacos which were excellent especially with a cold beer to wash them down while enjoying the band perform. This is an iconic spot and a must while visiting Key West! We loved it here.

This bar is so popular, it's very problematic to find a seat. I really enjoyed the atmosphere there and want to say thank you to bartender Paul. He is very helpful and nice. If you wanna hear the story of this bar, he would love to help you. Food and drinks were good. And I definitely wanna come back here.

What can I say... It's Sloppy Joe's! Great fun atmosphere. We stopped in for a cold one while shopping on Du val street. Our bartender was hilarious and made the whole experience a lot of fun. We met a couple from Fort Wayne (Eric and Amy) and immediately hit it off. As expected the bar was packed. The food looked awesome, but we stuck to the Spirits. The live music topped it off. This Iconic bar is a must stop when visiting Key West.

The atmosphere is great and it has a nostalgic feel. The service was wonderful and our server took the time to offer goid recommendations. We also really appreciated the live music! As far as food, we only tried the nachos with a side of sloppy Joe. I will say, I was so very pleased about how delicious the sloppy Joe filling was!! It was wonderful and I highly recommend trying it! The nachos were good, but I'd say average. The portion size was quite large, we ended up throwing away about half of it, it could easily feed 3-4.
