Had a great time catching fish with “Get Some” Charters! John really gave us the full experience with his plethora of knowledge on the Everglades and where the daily catches are! We were able to do some exploring and John even got the dolphins to play in the wake just inches away from us! 102 fish, 6 species, and many more to catch in the future! I would highly recommend “Get Some” for a fun filled day of fishing! Easily 5 stars.

As a brand new angler I had an awesome experience with Captain John (and my bf John Freeman ). This was my 4th real fishing trip ever, 2 full days of fishing, with patience and thorough instructions, I learned the ART of the hookset, casting properly, reeling correctly and most importantly they both made it so fun! We caught more fish than I expected by far. Captain John knows every hot spot out there. Well done to Captain John and my bf John Freeman for an amazing experience Thanks so much, cannot wait to do it again

I highly recommend booking with Captain John. He is a top notch guy, top notch equipment, and a plethora of knowledge of the everglades and Florida in general! He was very patient and helpful with fishing tips. My experience with fishing guides has been most of them are long winded and tend to be condescending. This is not Captain John. He's one of those people you could just hang out with, and full of common sense! My nephew and I booked a half day trip with John, and we caught 24 fish (captains count), 5 different species! This was our first time in Florida, first time fishing the everglades, and I'd book with Captain John again without hesitation! He also gave us some recommendations on "things" to do and places to eat on the rest of our trip, all of which turned out to be spot on! My sincerest thank you to John for taking my nephew and I on a wonderful adventure! Happy trails Captain, and I hope our paths cross again, sometime, somewhere!

Captain John put us onto 28 fish (6 species) on our half day charter. Pretty great! More than that was how great he was with my wife and daughter, helping my wife perfect her cast (too many guides ignore the wife and assume the fishing trip is just for the husband, but not John!) and teaching my daughter a lot about fishing and nature. And she caught her first fish!! Great experience all around. Go fishing with Get Some!
