A day on the CJ Victoria with Captain Rob is all about having fun and making friends. And when you come to see him in Winthrop, just a short drive from Boston, you are in for an unforgettable trip. Captain Rob is well respected in the angling community of the Boston area and will make your trip with him memorable.
The CJ Victoria is a 32′ Osmond Beal Sportfishing boat with room for six to fish easily in comfort. She is equipped with the latest fish-finding and navigation equipment and top-of-the-line tackle. She is built to fish!
On your charter, you can fish inshore for Stripers, Blues and Flounder or head out to Stellwagen Bank and Jeffries Ledge to fish for larger fish like Tuna, Pollack, Haddock, Tautog and Sharks.
Inshore vertical jigging with ultra-light tackle for Stripers and Bluefish and offshore jigging and popping are very productive ways to hook a Tuna. Still, Captain Rob has many techniques to show you depending on what and where you want to go fishing. Captain Rob offers 1/2-day, 3/4-day and full-day charters and caters each charter to meet your needs.
C.J. Victoria will provide everything fishing-related, rods and reels, and bait. Just bring on board a sweatshirt, raincoat, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks and lunch, beverages and a small cooler to bring our fillets home.

7 months agoCaptain Rob's boat is well maintained with plenty of room for 6 guys and has a fully operating bathroom (not always the case with 6 pack charters). He took me and some important clientel out to a beautiful spot to catch bait and every member of our party was instantly catching fish! We took a short journey to the fishing grounds and he and his mate worked to get us on fish and we stayed on them the whole time. He did a great job filleting our catch and gave us cooking/storage tips too! Overall a great experience and I would recommend to anyone.

7 months agoCaptain Rob and his crew are a top notch operation. They put me and my crew of 5 on all the bass and bluefish we could handle reeling in. The boat was awesome. It was super clean and it sits like a duck on the water. The gear was all in great shape. You can tell that the captain and crew take great pride in taking care of the boat and their equipment. They really focus on everyone having a great time. I can’t wait for my next trip at the end of the month.

7 months agoThe captain was awesome and the boat has everything you need for a great fishing trip. Clean, well maintained, cabin to escape weather if needed, bathroom, etc. We elected the pick up in Boston which was super easy (right in the seaport). I brought my 3 younger kids and they loved it too. Extremely safe. We caught stripers and would definitely return again! Recommended.
