5 months agoCaptain Mark is the best!! Clean boat, Great fishing, Fun Experience, and shout out to First Mate Justin too. This was my cousin’s first time on a boat in the ocean. We caught a lot of fish on this day but the best part was yet to come. My cousin caught a huge shark and reeled it in like a pro; She is tiny by the way. I wish I could post the video. We had a blast. I just can’t say enough about this experience. I highly recommend Angry Pelican Charters!

a year agoCaptain Mark and mate Elliot were absolutely great. Having been on many guided fishing trips over the years, I can tell you the Angry Pelican crew delivers on all levels. Courteous, positive and generally just a great overall experience. It was very clear Captain Mark takes getting us hooked up on fish very seriously - and they did just that! Our 10 yr old daughter and 6yr old son had a great time. Look no further, Angry Pelican is where it’s at!

a year agoCaptain Mark and Elliot took us out for the highlight of our vacation! My 10yo, 9yo & 6yo children loved the experience as much as I did! It was a good mixture of fishing for the kids (catching small sharks, croaker) and for adults (trolling for Spanish, blues, etc). Captain Mark and Elliot were amazing hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and fishing in general. They were super patient with my three snacky, high-energy children. I felt like I was fishing with family. Could not recommend more.

a year agoCapt Mark and Mate Elliott are 1st class!! They made our charter experience the best! These guys kept it fun, put us on the Spanish Macks, and helped us make a lifetime of memories! If you want the best fishing charter in Oak Island, Angry Pelican is the way to go!

a year agoMark and Elliot are an amazing team. They took us out fairly last minute due to another company canceling on us 30 minutes prior to take off. These two taught us a thing or two while we were out there. It was a slow start but they worked hard to get us on em and then the action started. Caught 14 keepers.
