Angler’s Edge Outdoors has everything you need to make a fishing trip a lasting memory. We have four locations that we charter from; Buffalo, NY, Lewiston, NY, Niagara Falls, NY and Youngstown, NY. We fish Lake Erie, the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Captain Joe has over 20 years of experience, and his boat is fast and can get you to where the fish are in no time.

Captain Joe has always enjoyed fishing. For as long as he can remember, it has been a huge part of his life. He is a USCG Master Captain. He loves taking people out, especially new anglers to the sport, to enjoy a day on the water. Captain Joe will teach you everything you need to know and will use his extensive knowledge to put you on fish.

Captain Joe’s boat is a Lund 2175 Pro V with a Supercharged 350 HP Mercury Outboard. It can reach speeds up to 65 miles an hour. It is 8 !/2 feet wide and 21 feet 10 inches long, so there is plenty of room for all anglers to comfortably fish without running into each other. The boat has top-of-the-line GPS Navigation, Fish Finding Equipment and Sonar Technology. This means that he can find fish faster and even watch the fish take your bait.

Angler’s Edge Outdoors targets many types of fish depending on where you are fishing and the season. Some of these fish include Walleye, Bass, Muskie, Salmon, Trout and Steelhead.

Fishing charters last 6 hours, and we fish 12 months out of the year.

Rods, reels, bait and tackle are all provided for you, and each angler must wear a designated life jacket. A fishing charter is a great way to enjoy a day out on the water and get the most out of your fishing experience. There are a few things that you need. First, non-slip boat shoes or sneakers, as these will provide extra safety during your excursion. Waterproof outerwear such as hats, gloves, insulated boots and wool socks are also necessary for colder months and sunscreen is also important to protect against sunburns. Smartphones can be useful for capturing special moments and storing memories in photo albums or on social media pages. Furthermore, a cooler with snacks and drinks will come in handy while fishing; we can help you with processing your catch, but it helps to bring gallon bags too! Finally, don’t forget to purchase a fishing license beforehand so you can have access to both sides of the Niagara River. With all these items in tow, you’re sure to have an enjoyable time while out on the open water.

Fishing the Niagara River is something every angler should do once in their lifetime. Captain Joe always works to ensure your trip is something you will always remember.

Our experience with Joe was awesome. It was my first time fishing and I got 3 in the boat. Will recommend to anyone beginner or beyond. If Joe tells you to get up early to get the good ones. You won’t regret it!

Had a Blast fishing with Joe. He made my dream come true and put me on my first Steelhead ever. He has a really sweet boat with all the bells an whistles. He took the time to explain how to fish for them and made sure we were doing it right. My son cleaned up on the boat. Joe has some entertaining stories and had us all laughing. There were 4 in our group and we all caught fish. I am already looking forward to our next trip. Going back next Oct for my Birthday. If you are thinking about it, call Joe. You will have a good time. I promise.

Captain Joe is by far one of the most knowledgeable captains out on the water. Aside from a great personality his knowledge of the river and fishing will have you highly satisfied with the whole experience. This looks like it will be one of many more trips out there with Anglers edge!

Capt.Joe is a super knowledgeable charter captain on the river and lake. We wanted to try for as many species as the muddy water could produce. He delivered ... 7 species... Grand Slam
