Captain Jay has been fishing since he could walk and brings a lifetime of experience navigating South Florida’s waters.
Captain Manny has spent decades working alongside him. Together, they offer nearly 60 years of combined expertise targeting big game fish off Miami’s coast.
The Boat – The Spellbound
At 57 feet long and 20 feet wide, The Spellbound is one of the largest, fastest, and most fully equipped sportfishing vessels in Miami. Powered by twin 400hp diesel engines and two generators, the boat is built for both performance and comfort.

Our crew, Jesus and Jordan, were clearly experienced — handling rigging, casting, and setup with ease. They assisted with everything from baiting to reeling in and removing hooks. We had four catches in the first hour, including a massive 5-foot barracuda by the end of the trip. The Spellbound was clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with ice in the coolers. The restroom onboard was spotless, and parking directions were clear and helpful. The ride was smooth, and no one felt seasick. Highly recommend this Miami fishing charter — we’ll definitely be back!

We caught multiple barracuda, bonita, a kingfish, and a powerful 95-pound amberjack — plus we hooked into a 7-foot shark! Fresh bagels were even catered to the boat, which was a great touch.
