Led by Captain Edlin Leslie Jr., a fourth-generation fisherman, Placencia Fishing Charters brings extensive expertise in various fishing techniques, including deep-sea and inner reef fishing, fly fishing, and spin casting. Captain Edlin has passed his knowledge to his son, Deshawndre, and other local guides. A day with the team focuses on fishing, understanding the craft, and experiencing the local culture.

Fly fishing outings target catch-and-release species such as Permit, Tarpon, and Bonefish, offered as half-day or full-day trips. Lagoon and reef trips center on species like Snappers, Barracuda, and King Mackerel, employing trolling and bottom fishing techniques. Outer reef and deep-sea options aim for pelagic species such as Tuna and Marlin, with electric reel deep drops available for those looking for a unique challenge. Each trip includes cleaning and filleting a portion of the catch.
