Captain Byron Noles, with seven years of local fishing experience, leads these trips, targeting species such as Black Drum, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout. The trips cater to both novice and experienced anglers with durations ranging from 4-hour to 7-hour options. All necessary fishing gear, including spinning reels, rods, tackle, bait, and lures, is provided, so anglers only need to bring personal items like food, drinks, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and fishing licenses.
Captain Byron’s love for fishing began in his childhood. At the age of 30, he decided to pursue this passion full-time, leaving his job to start booking fishing trips. Despite initial challenges, Captain Byron’s dedication paid off, and his trips gained popularity. His goal is to share his passion for fishing with every guest.
Mother Laguna Adventures offers several types of fishing trips, including a 7-hour and a 5-hour Winter Fishing trip available seasonally from December 1 to February 28. There is also a 4-hour Bay trip and a 6-hour 3/4 Day Bay trip. These trips are conducted on a 22’ Coastal Custom boat, equipped with a 200 HP Suzuki engine that reaches a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The boat features a modern GPS system for navigation, an ice-box to keep fish and drinks cool, and a livewell for live bait. The boat can accommodate up to four people.
