Fishnet Charters, established in 2012 and based in Freetown, Massachusetts, offers guided fishing trips along the Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastlines. Captain Mel True owns and operates Fishnet Charters, bringing over 35 years of experience fishing the coastal waters of New England. He runs a full-time mobile charter service, taking anglers to some of the best fishing spots in the region. His knowledge of the fishery is highlighted in articles published in top New England fishing magazines. He is also a professional photographer, with his work featured in fishing advertisements and on magazine covers. Beyond his time on the water, he shares his expertise at fishing seminars hosted by local clubs. He is on the Pro Staff for several local and national fishing brands and is involved in testing and developing fishing products. His experience, skill, and ability to find trophy-sized fish have earned him respect throughout the fishing community.

Fishnet Charters offers private fishing trips lasting six hours for up to four people, with the option to add up to two more for an additional cost. Extra hours can be added as needed. Specialty charters for tuna and shark fishing accommodate up to three people. Additional services include professional photography, GoPro video production, product testing, fishing seminars, and lessons. Sea duck hunting trips run for five hours along the coastal waters of New England. These hunts are led by Captain Mel True and Scott Lambert Jr. from Elmwood Kennel & Guide Service. Sea duck hunting is available from November 28 to January 27, with no hunting allowed on Sundays in Massachusetts.

Fishnet Charters operates a 26-foot Goldline center console boat, trailered daily to fishing locations along the Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastlines. This vessel is used for private fishing trips and can accommodate up to six people. For sea duck hunting, a 21-foot vessel from The Duck Boat Company, purchased in 2022, is fully equipped with the necessary safety gear. A two-man layout boat is also available, allowing hunters to position themselves among the decoys.
