Captain Seth Levine leads Artemis Sportfishing with nearly two decades of experience in the Outer Banks. He started fishing both freshwater and saltwater in the Northeast before moving west to fish in the Rockies and Cascade Mountains. After earning a degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he returned to the East Coast, where he developed his skills in the New York Bight. Seth later moved to North Carolina, where he has guided trips out of Oregon Inlet for 15 years. He focuses on sight fishing, tracking cobia or targeting marlin, using his knowledge of local waters to share the Outer Banks’ fishing opportunities.

Artemis Sportfishing offers several trips tailored to different options. For nearshore waters, there are 4-hour trips available from June to mid-October to catch Spanish Mackerel, Drum, Cobia, and Sharks. The 6-hour trips provide more time to explore and target various species, with both morning and afternoon slots available. For a full day on the water, the 9-hour Cobia Nearshore trip is a solid choice. Offshore options include the 7-hour Bottom/Tower trip and 10-hour full day trips for targeting fish like Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, and Swordfish. Seasonal trips include deep dropping for Swordfish in late fall and longer ventures to the continental shelf.

The Artemis is a 43-foot L&H walkaround vessel, powered by twin Cummins QSC 600 HP engines. It’s equipped with Furuno and Garmin electronics, safety gear, and communication equipment, meeting the standards for offshore waters. The boat uses gear from Avet, Shimano, Penn, and Connley custom rods, supporting a range of tackle from light to heavy-duty. It has a maximum capacity of six guests, suitable for small groups looking for a focused day on the water.
