Aquilla Fishing Charters offers Deep Sea Reef Fishing with a variety of trips to choose from. For individuals or small groups, the Per Person Charters allow you to join an open boat with others, requiring a minimum of five passengers. For groups of seven or more, a deckhand will also join the experienced crew to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. These morning charters run from 6 am to 12 pm, departing from Wollongong Harbour and fishing between Stanwell Park and Shellharbour, up to 10 nautical miles offshore. The package includes fishing rods, tackle, sinkers, a fishing license, bait, gutted and cleaned catches, and a skipper.
For those wanting a private experience, the Whole Boat Charter is available for up to 23 passengers, though only 10 can fish at one time for comfort and safety. These charters run daily from 6 am to 12 pm, with additional afternoon slots available during daylight savings from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
The O-G, Aquilla, is a 12.8m mono hull GRP vessel equipped with a house toilet, Bluetooth radio, and flybridge. It features a spacious outdoor deck that can comfortably accommodate 10 people for fishing, with benches available for added comfort. The boat offers unobstructed 360° ocean views and modern fishing gear, including Shimano Saragosa 10,000 spin reels and Abu Garcia Muscle Tip 3 8-12kg rods. It can accommodate up to 12 people plus 2 crew members.
The newest addition to the fleet, Reel Force, is a 12.95m Seaquest designed specifically for charter fishing. Powered by a Volvo D12 615HP, Reel Force ensures more time on the water, providing a spacious deck and a licensed capacity of up to 23 passengers for non-fishing activities. The fishing gear on Reel Force includes Shimano Saragosa 10,000 spin reels and Daiwa Beefstick 10-20 kg 6ft rods, accommodating up to 10 people for fishing.
