From Corozal in the north all the way to Punta Gorda in the south, the weather in Belize is warm and beautiful all year long with temperatures averaging from the mid 70’s to 80 degrees year round. Belize’s climate is divided into a dry and rainy season. The dry season lasts from December through May and the rainy season is June through November. Fishing for most species is good year round. There is no bad time of year to fish for bonefish, permit, and tarpon in Belize’s famous flats. Excellent fly fishing for all these fish species is year round. Deep water fishing for sailfish and marlin is best June through November. Grouper and wahoo are most common December through May, while yellowtail snapper are primarily caught in March and April. There are a wide variety of charters available throughout Belize, from the smaller pangas, perfect for inshore and flat fishing, to larger charter boats and yachts for offshore fishing adventures.
