They target a variety of fish: offshore reef fishing focuses on pearl perch, snapper, mulloway, cobia, shark, and mackerel; game fishing trips aim for black marlin, blue marlin, striped marlin, yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi, kingfish, and mackerel; and estuary fishing targets mulloway and whiting. They believe in the importance of recreational fishing for environmental preservation. Anglers get a firsthand look at fish stocks, movements, and breeding success, contributing to conservation and research through tag-and-release programs. They use the latest catch-and-release methods to ensure fish are returned safely to their habitat, fostering an appreciation for the underwater ecosystem.

Captain Aaron Ogilvie, a licensed Coxswain Marine Engine Driver (MED) Grade 3, has been with South West Rocks Fishing Adventures for ten years. Coming from a fishing family, he has fished the New South Wales coast for over twenty years. His extensive knowledge and experience make him an invaluable guide. Aaron enjoys sharing his fishing knowledge and guiding guests to the best spots for a great fishing experience.

South West Rocks Fishing Adventures offers various fishing trips. Offshore reef fishing charters, typically half-day trips, target pearl perch, snapper, mulloway, and cobia. These charters include morning tea and accommodate up to 10 anglers. Game fishing charters focus on larger, challenging fish like marlin, yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi, and kingfish, accommodating up to 6 anglers. Estuary fishing charters provide a relaxed experience in the Macleay River, targeting mulloway and whiting. Extended fishing packages offer 2, 3, and 4-day trips with accommodation, breakfast, and morning tea, designed for groups of at least 6 anglers.

The MV Trifecta, a 38-foot fiberglass hull vessel with a 400hp engine, state-of-the-art electronics, and modern fishing tackle, is used for these trips. It accommodates up to 10 people and is equipped with full toilet facilities, ensuring comfort and efficiency on the water.
